You can't say Toby, Dale, George, Alan, or any new artist doesn't have that same feeling.
I think they all have the same drive to sing and become Big!
Notice the capitalized big? I'm guessing Watson doesn't think this way but more in line with what Clint Eastwood said recently: If you make a film for it to be a hit, you're missing the point. Instead, make the best film you can.

If dale played by himself with just a tele I would still want to be there.

Right on there, Steve.

The last time Dale came here his new steel player had gotten ill before they left on the tour. So Dale carried the lead load on his own. It was still a great event and only us steel players even noticed the lack of a steel.

I've only seen Dale in the barroom setting and there the song list is informal, by request. He seems to have instant recall of his songs. I suppose if he forgets one he'll just pretend not to hear your request. :lol:
