" This is my wife's viewpoint" !!!
Wow you guys have a lot of opinions on tatoos. Granted there was a time when I only saw tatoos on guys (and gals) that rode motorcycles. Did that make them lower class??? I never thought so. Today it is different. People of "every" class are getting tatoos. Tatoos are considered a work-of-art. Men shave their heads, woman wear too much make up sometimes...does that make them lower class??? Anyway I'm glad John D got his tatoo. It looks great and it makes him happy (by the way when he's happy I'm happy). Maybe it is a mid-life thingy, I don't know, but it is cheaper than a Corvette. By the way I could never think of John D as lower class!

John, I agree. Best to stay on topic and if you don't mind, I'd like a look at the PSGA Show in November.

Ron, I don't own the idea so have at it. Glad you like it. Kind of an east meets west.

Larry, you're a Groucho fan I see. Image

Ron, just be very careful with your instructions to the tatoo artist... you might end up with a tatoo of a guitar on your lap...

Ron.

Two things.

If it was in a "non-visible area" I cant think of any that wouldn't be extremely painful.

Further, if it was in one of those areas and somebody managed to see it, well....

You could just say you had one and that it was in one of those areas........

Now there's a broad minded opinion if I ever saw one. Image

My uncle, who served in the Navy in WW2, served in the Pacific, where he got the coolest tattoo of an anchor on his one forearm, (he's my Godfather and I'm proud of it) would be delighted to know that

There's nothing wrong with a tatoo, but I think I'll stick with my Vette.

Ron states: "I'm thinking a steel guitar but was wondering how good the strings will come out"......

Hmmm, might depend upon where you put your 'G' string Image

Check out the artistry (?) on Tom Morrell's album covers!! Especially the one on Vol 9 with Bobby Koefer...I always thought that would make a cool tattoo. I am kind of over getting tattoos, but I did manage to get a few before realizing that $$ would be better spent on gitar stuff.

If you go to supersuckers.com and go to the Eddie Spaghetti "Old # 2" preorder page, you can watch a video in which the opening scene is a close up of my hands playing the opening dobro riff.

If you can't see it clearly, the tattoo on the back of my hand is an eagle clutching a guitar, and written below the guitar........the word "Agony". It was a takeoff of the old starday record labels' logo, but it says "agony" instead of "starday".

If I could play them gitars a little better, maybe the tattoo would read "tons of money and fame".......................

Although I probably won't get any more tattoos, I'm all for anyone doing anything to their bodies. I guess my private tattoo might read "Push/Pull" at times, and "Black 1973 Emmons Push/pull pedal steel guitar that I traded a 1996 Gretch for....Now lets talk a litle more about the Push/pull".
