Was it November the 14th at the NIA ?
If it was, then this was the line up
As of mid-April, when the UK tour was announced by the Fan Club, the band members and the songs to be performed were yet to be decided. However, the theme for the shows that had been discussed was "An Intimate Evening with The Everly Brothers" - with part of the show being acoustic. In a mailing in August to Fan Club members, the band members were announced: Phil Cranham (bass), Pete Wingfield (keyboards), Tony Newman (drums), Albert Lee (guitar), and Pat Severs from Nashville (guitar and pedal steel guitar).
who is Pat Severs ?

This was their set list, quite a few 'Great Songs'

Steven,
Yeah, it's a Wraparound. The old Bassman cabinet has a power amp and Eminence neo speaker
mounted inside. That gets fed by a PODxt.

Well, I "Rock" and "Roll" Image

Trick to a nice rolling vibrato/tremolo is don't use it until the note(s)'s sustain starts to die off, and then just use enough to keep the note(s) alive. This method was taught to me using an opra singer as an example, they hit the note with great breath control, and finally use their vocal cord muscle to help in the sustain..... not like Buffy Saint Marie Image

For rock slide effect, b0b said it best in a previous post.... just play like you have very little bar technique, make lots of string noise, and be loose with your intonation, starting somewhat flat, and "dragging" the bar up to pitch (some slide player's I've heard omit the last step Image )

Yes Basil, that's exactly the concert. My 60th birthday was on 12th November, and I went over to celebrate turning 60 with the rest of the group I used to play with, most of whom left Saltley Grammar School in 1964 and turned 60 during 2005 within a few weeks of each other.

As they've often said, growing old stinks, but it's better than the alternative !

By the way, during the concert Phil Everly asked how many steel guitarists were in the audience and I think I was the only one who put my hand up.
