Here's a link to my Williams D-10 keyless. I love this guitar. Tried to post the pic, but couldn't get it to work. Hope the link does.
If anyone can help with that, please feel free. http://community.webshots.com/photo/351244374/351269860tfKGIS
David & John,
My pedal rods mount in the center of my pedals, but I don't have a problem with flex, as long as I make that when I connect the rod, that the groove on the connector is facing the pedal bar. That's takes care of the flex. If you get it on wrong, you can tell it real quick.
Richard,
This is a really cool post, and I can't believe how beautiful your new Williams is. WOW!!! Makes me think twice about buying your old one, but then it's pretty sharp looking too. Still working on that.
Thanks to all. I'd like to see more Willy pics on here.

Richard, man that is a beautiful Williams, I
have one I bought from Billy Jenkins, I thank it is a 2002 model, looks almost like yours except mine has aluminum neck and I love it, you will too. Leon
Really a looker that's for sure. I'm wondering if the Mohagony aprons give it a little "warmer" tone.... I know the Gibson Les Paul guitars are built on slabs of mahagony with a maple face.

Another real plus of the Williams pedal steel is that Bill Rudolph does not charge an extra $600 to $ 700 for a lacquer vs. a mica body. Amazing, considering what works of art these wood bodies truly are. Great looking (sounding, and playing) steel for sure, Richard. steve t
Hey Richard,
How about posting a pic on here of your "old", and now MY NEW Williams Steel? It ain't nearly as pretty as your new one, but it ain't too bad looking either. Looking forward to getting her next week. She'll be well taken care of, rest assured. I'd post the pic myself, but I'm one of those that don't yet know how to do that.
Thanks so much,
BD
Very pretty guitar, but of course, Bill made it! Anyone looking for a great guitar, especially those who appreciate the aesthetics of a classic lacquer finish, will be amazed, I'm sure, at not only the sheer cosmetic beauty but also the characteristics in all other areas. I was(and still am) knocked out by the tonal quality and clarity..I never had a lacquer guitar with the separation and balance. I can honestly say that my "Willy" incorporates all of the best features of every guitar I've ever owned. Once you have heard his own pick-up just quit while you're ahead! And one of the best parts of all...a gorgeous piece of wood/finish for no additional charge. Regards, RK
