Yeah, I've known about Keith's guitar for lots of years. I've offered him serious money several times, like in the five figures, and he's always said "sorry, not serious enough yet."
I did finally play it when he brought it to Sacramento a couple years ago when I was inducted. I did play Dean Rankin's Carter since I couldn't bring my own horn due to travel considerations dealing with the death and funeral of my father-in-law, which occurred only a week before the WSHOF event. So it was a bittersweet time in Sacramento. Dean's guitar was just what I needed, and I'm very appreciative he let me play that fine horn.
