Roger.....No, would you send it to me and let me try it? LOL. To be honest I haven't played a lot of other guitars beside my own. Just having a little fun here. I will be getting another practice guitar some time in the not to distant future. Don't know what I will be getting. I am interested in getting something different but I will have mess around with some until I find something I like. Hope it is a different brand but has the same feel as my legrand. Some of these PP Emmons are sure tempting though I think I will get something modern, who knows.
[This message was edited by W Franco on 20 August 2004 at 09:55 AM.]

I'm afraid not - I started a seven-week show this week and I'll need it myself; otherwise I'd send it to you
, honest!
I, too, need a second guitar - I feel it keenly once my steel's set up in a theatre, and I can't get my hands on it until show-time. I had an MCI which didn't quiet measure up to my Emmons, so that went. Then a Zum which, though it was a beautiful job, didn't quite do it for me.
Now I'm awaiting a new JCH, but the delivery time could be considerable. I don't honestly know why I didn't just buy another Emmons and leave it at that, but I felt like a change just as you do. I still think I'll have another LeGrande before too long, but I am eagerly anticipating the guitar from Jimmie!

You know I would love to get a really cool PP like the one Brad Sarno has for sale. My problem is I want something for practice (every day hopefully) and I just don't know if that is the best choice..Maintanance issues, etc. I would tend to want to make a small museum for it instead of play it! Maybe this is another topic.
[This message was edited by W Franco on 20 August 2004 at 11:25 AM.]

[This message was edited by W Franco on 20 August 2004 at 03:30 PM.]

Wayne when you played my D10 Professional you wanted to trade me both of your guitars for mine and I said no way, Wayne has a D10 and a single Push pull.
I think he has a fever.
Mabe it has something to do with his flying.
I VOTE FOR SHO-BUD IT IS THE BEST

Not that anyone is interested in my opinion,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I think the Carter has one of the greatest sounds that a guitar can have. Even an amp change don't make it sound bad. Some MSA guitars can sound off as good as any. Not taking anything away from Emmons guitars but if you want "THAT SOUND" you just have to listen to BUDDY to get it.
I play Carter and I think it is a "SOUND" decision

Well fellas, if we're talkin tone here, you get an old shobud, one of the first made , put a BL710 PU on it , play it through a Fender Twin with 1 15" JBL and put the picks and the bar in the hands of Lloyd Green and I promise you, you'll keep tryin until you come up with something that sounds like the best guitar you've ever heard.
