I've been using Franklin strings for years now. They are my favorite.

So...can anyone give me the pros and cons on the Cobra Coils? (Premium set vs Custom set.)

I recently switched to Jagwires and am most impressed. Had them on my new Zum for about 7 weeks and still haven't broken one - and I have played it every day, including gigs and a tv show. They still sound very good despite all the playing. I just got another order from Regina and they took about 4 days to get out to NZ, so you can't beat service like that. I also run them on my MCI D10 with similar results - less breakage and better tone and durability. This all equals savings in the long run too.
