Cory, congrats. You have a true classic in the Lloyd Green Sho-Bud. Those things are usually bought very standard and kept that way. And they are not easy to wear out. So you may not have to worry about adjustments and parts. It sounds like that one will be in good shape, and can be expected to stay that way.
I don't know what pickup it will have. Some of the older single coil pickups were very noisy, and they don't get any better with time. If the pickup hasn't been replaced lately, consider getting a modern humbucker like those by Bill Lawrence, or if you like single coils try a True Tone by Jerry Wallace. Jerry will even rewind your old one for a very good price, and it will sound like his new ones. Replacing the pickup is about the simplest and cheapest thing you can do with an old steel, and it will usually make a huge difference.
