Bobby, the 2-way lever is a 3 pc. lever so it stands alone and is connected, or "slaved" to a bellcrank on a cross shaft. Where the rod connects to the lever are several holes, and just like a bellcrank, the farther away from the axle you put the rod, the faster and shorter the travel of the lever. The travel is just right where it's set at now. There is quite alot of adjustment in the way this lever is designed. Probably the best feature about it is all the space that is saved under the guitar. I listed my guitar as 8F & 8K but it's really 8F & 9K.

Randy, with the B lowering a whole tone on the E9th., how does it affect the travel on the 1st. pedal?

John I can hardly feel the slack left in the A pedal for that lower. That may be because the pedal is so easy to start with. There's not a drastic difference when the slack is out and the pedal starts to raise the string. Pedal travel is short and easy but not so short that you can't 1/2 pedal A.
[This message was edited by Randy Beavers on 25 June 2003 at 09:59 AM.]

When adjusted right, it's just like Randy said,,,,very little slack and a really good feeling pedal. Fairly short and easy.

I talked to Randy today and he said that he was going to play the push pull Tuesday night, July 1'st, along side Russ Hicks at the North Tennessee Steel Guitar Association super jam.
I'm gonna' try and make this one so I can hear this fantastic guitar myself. Rumor has it that the Big E may well be there too.
Hope to see a lot of you guys and gals there.
