and a picture on his wall caught my eye, there were three guys and the youngest was holding what appeared, to me,to be a fender telecaster.
Jack,
I was wondering if this is a cropped version of the picture you saw, or perhaps another taken the same night. Does it look familiar?

In 2004, (Eric Clapton's Stratocaster) Blackie was sold for $959,500 at a Christie's auction to support the Crossroads Centre Antigua, located on the beautiful island of Antigua, a drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation centre founded by Clapton. The final bid was cast by the United States nationwide music equipment chain Guitar Center, causing Clapton's guitar to set the record as the world's most expensive guitar. In 2006, another Stratocaster—signed by a large group of celebrities, including Clapton—was auctioned to benefit the victims of the 2004 Asian tsunami, selling for U.S. $2.6 million, surpassing Blackie's record.
jeff;
also was a picture with a young piano player, floyd
cramer, hank, tommy and jimmy day.
there were several pictures and some different clothes.
he said thay had played several shows and dances there in that last fall and winter.
when they got back to shreveport, tommy rode with hank to vicksburg for christmas with his mama & daddy, "as hank drove away he waved 'til he was out of sight.", as a tear rolled off tommy's cheek.....
This has very little to do with playing music. Norman's has a good reputation, so it probably is authentic. Still, it's about twice the price for any not-famous-owner Fender I've ever seen. I don't think you're likely to profit from it, unlike perhaps 15 years ago when you could pick these up for under $30,000. The dumbest thing about this to me - NOT the "keeping guitars away from us po' players" - is that $100,000 Fenders and $400,000 Les Pauls somehow make it seem reasonable to sell a 15-foot guitar cord for $200 and a friggin' plastic guitar pick for $50. And, no, please don't tell me how much better you are since you bought one....
And to think,I let my friend use it for free and now he's selling it now.Something's crazy with this picture.Oh Well! The first name was right..... It just needs Uncle.
