I had a chance to "coon finger" your guitar the day before he shipped it Howard. It is truly amazing in tone and workmanship. One thing I love about it is the fact that it has no taper from the saddle to the nut....It gives it that steel guitar feel. Congratulations....

The string gauges are
1. 15
2. 17
3. 28w
4. 32
5. 36
6. 48
and I tune between A11 & G.......the G (dobro) tuning really sounds the best in terms of tone.....I haven't tuned it to D yet....
I'm glad you got to try it out Tony....and I love the parallel string spacing....makes slants on the lower end easier & sound more in tune.....I wish all of my 6 & 8 stringers were parallel spaced....
