Oh, so Miles wrote "Crazy", eh?

Let's see, yes, as I recall, the original lyrics went something like this:

I'm a crazy m**********
Crazy for feeling so f****** lonely
Crazy for feelin' kinda blooooo.....

I knew, you'd love me as long as your white m************* a** would want to, you f******* b*****,

Then some day, leave me for some white f******* m********** tooooo!

It goes on from there, but you get the general idea. ;)

Y'all may very well flame my old butt, but - I'd love to have heard Miles sing Crazy in the manner as intimated by Jimbeaux.

Could it be that I have an irreverant, ribald, demented and raunchy sense of humor?

just got my copy, purchased on the recommendation of this thread.... T.F. Much!!!! A great piece of transcription and analysis. Thanks for the tip.

Received in the same shipment from Amazon, "Birth of the Cool" scores from Hal Leonard, reproductions of the original 1949 nonet scores. In concert, no analysis, main solos transcribed but not drums. Also very cool if you are into that sort of thing. The book doesn't state publishing date but I think it is fairly recent. Could be wrong.

Threadnomancy! Son of Return of Threadnomancy! I finally got my copy and it's all the bee's knees as reputed. Well, now 2010's going down the tubes, yet another year engaged in musical pursuits w/ NO commercial pot. Hey smart guys - know of any Cannonball books? "Somethin" Else" by Cannonball Adderley is actually almost my favorite Miles album, as Davis produced and played all over it and it's stylistically and chronologically in between "Milestones" and "Kind of Blue".
