i'm just thankful that this is on RFD TV so it won't be at a conflicting time to Big Joe's Polka Show. I don't know what I'd do if I had to decide between the two.

I'm looking forward to this show. I hope they keep it traditional and let the entertainers do what they do.

Come on Rick,Don't be mean to Big Joe.Watched a couple of minutes of him the other night. The band was playing along with a steel guitar TRACK.Could'nt tell if the steel was WAY FLAT or the band was WAY sharp, but they damn sure were NOT in tune, sounded like the steel was in one key,the band in another, and the vocals somewhere in between. But he had a steel in the mix. But it don't matter bet none of those geezers [like me] knew the difference, they were having a ball danceing the polka. that's what matters on his show.YOU BETCHA,DYK?BC.

I agree. I think Big Joe has got the best MC voice on TV. I watch it just to hear him talk. I've also got a lot of respect for his show because they keep it what it's supposed to be. I hope this new show follows Big Joe's policy.

Yes, I might be a purist. I think Big Joe is too. Someone has to be, if the music is going to maintain it's identity. Otherwise, the crossing over of styles will destroy the integrety of the less popular forms.

Ho Ho Ho, they call him Jolly Joe..........
