Jerry thank you for the comeback sorry you feel offended..Not a brother of the craft?..Well opinions vary and you have varied opinions as does anyone..But nowhere did I say anything negative or anything directed as an insult to you.. But I did ask a question about your published problem..This is a Forum and not all things posted offend or please everyone..Its just that I know of the player you were griping about and his history of playing in Nashville and also with a very famous artist...No one ever builds up their own credability by putting anyone down..I agree the post should be shut down..I wish you the best as you are brother of the craft..Maybe someday I can gain that respect..As a brother Mason ,I remember what I was told at the door when recieving my second degree..

Joe, thanks for the reply! I know that you know who I'm talking about and this thread wasn't meant to demean him as he has a lot of credentials but we all get old at some point I guess! We've been working together in one band for about three years now and it wasn't always this way. At first it was a pretty good match and we seemed to play great together but the last year or so it seems he's losing something and trying to play all the time and constantly overplaying on a lot of leads.

I just wish I could get someone else to mention this to him as we've become good friends and I wouldn't want to harm that friendship or offend him in anyway as he's a super nice guy. I guess I just can't let the old days go when everyone knew when to pick and when not to. I'm going to try to just go with the flow I guess and not complain as it doesn't do any good for or to anyone........ Remember "Whisper Good council in his ear"? I wish I could bring myself to do that! Thanks for your input, JH in Va...........
Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!!

. . . the crazies have joined in the fun. It seems a person can't even vent a little frustration without the "holier than thou's" coming on.
James here, Jerry, in apology for offense given if necessary.

Regards.
