I forgot to listen to the GOO last night.
A new artist Jonathan Singleton made his debut. Can I go to the archives to listen?

Getting back to Len's OP, seriously, does anyone know what happened to the TV broadcast of the show on Saturday nights? I've checked the websites of GAC, CMT and the Opry's website, but no mention of the TV broadcast. However, when I went to the Opry's MySpace page, it mentions the TV broadcast on Saturday's at 8 pm on GAC, yet it doesn't show up on GAC's broadcast schedule.

Anyone know what's going on with that?

I was told that The GOO could not attract clients to advertise. Thus, It is off cable for now.

The Grand Ole Opry couldn't attract advertisers for the TV broadcast?? :whoa: There HAS to be more to it than that, wouldn't you think?

If the Opry stays the way it is now, I hate to see it come here to Texas. We have some good country music down here and some excellent pickers. Why in the world would they want to move the Opry from where it has been located for 75 years? Makes no sense to me.

Maybe the executives at Gaylord took a peek at all the negative criticism on the SGF and decided to cancel the TV segment of the Opry.

Nothing gained, nothing lost. Most of you don;t like it anyway. 50 years ago it wasn't on TV. Maybe they think you all living in the past and so they will cut it.Big changes are on the way :) Joe
