I'm hoping my mom goes this year. She taught steel and guitar in the early fortys and has never been to one of these shows. She gave me my first steel lesson when I was about 10. My dad taught me a lot from there. He was one of her students before they were married.

Yep! Booked it in March 2008! John (Jack) Russell and his wife Pam are coming too. He booked it just this week..

Flight got cancelled last year!!!

Spent the whole day Fri. at the MSP airport!!!
Looking forward to seeing everyone, hope to meet a few more from the forum also!! Will get a good visit in with cousin Marilyn Pack and her husband Jim! (Plays Bass for Red Stegal.) Have had Albert Talley & family in our prayers alot this year, hope to see them and visit alittle......altho I know he is SUPER BUSY, at this event!!!!

Miss Mini Minnie Pearl here and will be going to the Dallas show. Bill Stafford (my BFF) has most graciously invited me to perform with him. Having moved to Pearland , TX last August I can't wait to meet everyone.

Coming over from Europe ... Well, actually for a medical meeting in Houston, but as it happens that meeting ends the same day the Dallas show starts, so I will stay another three days in Texas.
