Absolutly Tommy; "Gator Cases" RULE!!!
I've tried 3 other soft shell cases in my time(one like Nick's and a couple more with more of a shell) and everyone of them wore out very soon...carrying a heavey steel guitar....like zippers; cloth..bla bla and so on.
The Gator case will last because of it's superior design and material used.
