Thanks Bill. Interesting comment. Some of her songs that we played were both strong and pretty unique. On the other hand, for a show like this, they may well have been considered too non-commercial to use. I'm glad to hear she's made it at least that far, though, since she's both sweet and talented.

They did Rascal Flatts' "Mayberry" and even tho they sort of messed up the intro, the judges liked their chemistry.

And, I didn't want to sound too condescending - I think they could be contenders, but, there is some excellent competition in this. (On top of that, week-to-week, I've been terrible at predicting who I thought was gonna get cut on Idol...)

From their Myspace it appears that they've been in the mill down there for a while and its going to come down to a 'best-of-the bunch' talent contest finale at the Wild Horse... so who knows...

Glad to hear that Naomi's getting some work. She used to come around with her daughter Christina to sing with my band "The Cowpokes" at the Sound Track in San Francisco. That was about 30 years ago. I wonder if she remembers.
b0b, that sure takes me back....I remember my folks taking me to see you there when I was in short pants! :whoa:
