Speaking of good bands, good shows....I just got back from seeing Clint Black live at the Lutcher Theatre in Orange, Texas. Great Show....no steel guitar however. But I am going to post some pictures on another thread for Clint's opening act and it had a steel player you all know and he is one of our forum members.

I always thought of Texas as the 'cowboy' state, so to me it seems fitting that more traditional sounding country music would find a home there.

Roger enjoyed meting and working with you in St Louis, In Eddies room, loved your playing, you impressed Lonnie Portwood and that is hard to do. We have a lot of old country here in Florida I will be playing in
quitman tonight, I dug out Nans 6 stringer and set it up don Helms, we practiced with it Tuesday nite and Billy said bring it back tonight, we will do a lot of Hank tonight.
