Does anyone remember the seat that Jeff Newman made, about 20+ years ago? As I recall, it was made with blue jeans and a pair of cowboy boots. It looked kind of like you were sitting on someone's lap.

actually my right knee locks up now and then and I move my right foot forward, backwards sideways, anything to move my knee, I just placed my right foot UNDER my PC chair to move the knee...I do this on gigs between songs all the time.

it must be an age thing.:(

you guys must all be very young :)

I'm thinking of getting SEAT that hangs from the ceiling :!:

Hi Crowbear,
It's called a "Real Seat", built by a Steeler, Royce Riehl. AL Brisco helped in the design, around 1999.

It's built to airline standards. The box is 14”W 18”H 11”D with multi compartments, including 2 for Volume Pedals.

Al uses one. They are available from him.

Steeler's seat

Hi Gang,

The flight case seat shown by Joey Ace is the same style as the one that I have using for several years.

It has served me well since I fly to a lot of gigs.
We also offer them for sale through Steel Guitars of Canada.

More room inside than most other brands.

Why not just use an amp?

DLD, Chili farmer. Plus bananas and papaya too.

Most every steel seat I've come across is too high, too big, and too heavy.
