I thought Danny did outstanding last night! :)
I voted for he and Allison, she brought it too.....

It's hard to say whose going home tonight. I'll guess and say either Matt or Allison just because they've both been in the bottom many times. I would rather Kris go than Allison.

To be honest I'd rather Adam go......than Kris, but I know that's not going to happen.

I'm saddened to say it but I now think the fix is in.Adam will win. He goes last, he has a big intro down a big staircase with lights etc, he never gets any criticism other than "Oh, you slay me "...

I'm just here to tell you, he was not the best singer last night with his 10 second holding a single note and his beastie eyes in the camera close up. He was at best 3rd last night, maybe 4th. He is not even close to being a vocalist like the red haired gal or Danny, even Kris was on his game as a vocalist, Adam did not sing, he does not really sing, he screeches and for my money he does that because he knows he cannot offer any soul. Take away the screech and what do you have ?

But, the fix is in, the judges are elevating him to his level of greatness with there ridiculous comments of "how great thou art".

Remember what happened on Country night, that was the real Adam, look and style, he obviously has been advised to stay clear of who he really is and what he really does. That Adam has never returned to the stage, the look, the over the top singing and performances, gone.

I do believe the fix is in, I hope I'm wrong.

My wife told me that she read an article that basically said at this point Simon believes Danny & Adam will be the last 2 and Danny will win it all.
This really is a strong season, I liked each of the contestant's vocals and performances last night.

ok, did Adam kiss Matt there at the end when he left his side ? My wife says " yes ".

I especially like the part where Adam says he belongs with the other two and ends up in the bottom two. Nothing like a quick shock on TV to humble thyself.

I was very glad for Chris, sorry for Matt.

Interesting, Simon said in an article or maybe even on the show that performers must have a memorable performance, and the one that stood out in his mind was Adam singing Johnny Cash and he called it horrific ! If that's what he remembers about Adam, why all the hooplah ?

I think the little redhead held her ground very well. I would not be surprised if the final is between Adam and her. That would be the best money making scenario for the Idol money moguls.

I did not really see her commercial potential until last night. Danny...nice guy, nice smile, nice singer...they can't make money on him.

Who buys CDs...kids...am I wrong in thinking that the girl could sell CDs to kids??

I totally look at the Idol thing as the money making machine it is. Nothing else. Not about anything else now. Maybe in the past, but not now.

Did you hear Randy make the barb about Broadway? I guess he was dissing the idols that did not have much commercial sucess in the pop field ending up on Broadway, like Broadway is some sort of idol graveyard. It was an interesting slant on his part.

Adam is the cash cow and the girl (can't remember her name) might be the cash heifer....or maybe there are two cash heifers or maybe one heifer and a confused cow, or a neutered bull or a......!?!?!? 8-)

I couldn't figure out the fascination by the judges with Adam's version of "Whole Lotta Love." IMO, there was nothing particularly original or exceptional about it.

I enjoyed Allison's "Cry Baby," but it seemed to be a fairly obvious choice because of her raspy voice, to go the Janis Joplin route. She was considering "Somebody To Love," and I would have liked to have heard that - it might have shown more range in her pipes.

Danny chose one of perhaps my 10 most hated rock songs of all time, Aerosmith's "Dream On," so in my living room judge chambers, he already had two strikes against him before the first downbeat.

Kris was so mediocre last night that it took me awhile to even recall the song he performed - Simon was right, it was thoroughly forgettable. Oh yeah, "Come Together." Where did the kid find the audacity to take on that one? He isn't bad with the mellower, singer/songwriter stuff, but a big-time rocker he ain't. And any sense of the subtlety of the original was completely tossed out the window with the over-the-top band arrangement.

Kris has to be gone tonight.

we too were blown away by the judges constant "lifting" of Adam now calling him a Rock God ! It has now become a coronation rather than a contest, imagine that, Robert Plant now being placed second to Adam , it just doesn't make any sense.

Simon telling Adam after his performance that he will not be surpassed is mind blowing, what does that do to the other contestants, unless of course this is no longer a contest. To me it was clear to see the frustration with the "other three" after hearing Adam referred to as a Rock God and his performance being called the best of the night before anyone even sang.

Lets not forget what happened last week, the "other three" got more votes than Adam did, can't let that happen again so it seems.

By the way, I doubt Zep fans heard a great performance, good but not great. If I was a judge that's what I would have said, good job but nothing fantastic, Robert Plant already sang the fantastic classic, someone should remind Simon as he referred to the song as a Classic that it's Plant on the Classic track, not Adam.

Personally, I think anyone watching and voting has already made there minds up and these last performances will not change any minds. It's now down to how many times can one person get thru and vote. I think people who like Kris, Allison or Danny will not change there vote for Adam, they are all way too different. I think the bad news for Adam is that those that are voting for the other three will vote within that group and not switch to Adam.

Right now the votes are tallied between 4 people , when it gets down to 3 or 2, Adam needs to pick up votes from one of the others and I don't see that happening, it's a game of simple math now. Will Danny, Allison or Kris voters switch to Adam or one of the others ?

but what do I know, I'm on the living room side of the TV show !

t

ps, did you catch Seacrests comment after Adam and Allison sang ? he said " Good job girls"

Even if voting matters what difference does it really make, one person can vote hundreds of times.

remember how the voting goes, one person can vote as many times as humanly possible over the two hour period.

The voting is not really a straight up and down vote, it's whoever can get the phone to ring as many times as humanly possible!

60 million votes registered, but how many actual real different people ? As sick as this sounds I ran into a client who told me that her and her husband vote sometimes between 500 and a 1000 times over the two hours, can you imagine ?

How stupid does someone have to be to waste two hours calling a show, and then go around bragging about it? :\

Well, I suspect all of us have something we do that someone else may think is stupid or dumb, maybe they enjoy the show and the voting process, like millions of others do.

I certainly can't imagine me doing the multiple vote thing but hey, whatever floats peoples boats.

I also don't think she plays Pedal Steel Guitar either :)
