After seeing a few band caricatures, I couldn't resist throwing this one into the mix. During our second album "Living In A Moment" (when I was with Ty Herndon), fans started writing in that they'd like a band picture for autographs. All we had at the time were Ty photos.

So, I got elected for the task and created a caricature sheet and did cutouts of everyone's head from a band photo to place on it. The light guy, Jeff, wasn't available with a photo, so I used a balloon for his head (he was such an airhead anyway). We had them printed up (pretty large, 17" wide) and they were free at the concessions table to anyone who wanted one. We did it for fun, not expecting too many to be taken, but people liked them and scarfed them up like crazy.

Here's a shot of us at the Firefly on Beach Blvd. in Stanton, California in the late 70's or early 80's. Can't remember the bass players name but Brian Lonbeck is on lead Guitar, Bruce MacLachlan on drums, Carol Randolph on vocals and me on my trusty old ShoBud S-12 which I really miss and kick myself in the butt everyday for selling!.....JH in Va.

'Fraid that's me Frank. Almost 61 and 4 stone heavier than when we last met. Father time catches up with us all but at least I am still enjoying gigging, even though the gear seems to weigh heavier each passing year!

We are playing at the Monmouth Festival in June, so I'm looking forward to catching up with people from South Wales that I might have known 35 years ago.

The "New England Country Boys" at the American Legion hall in Wolfeboro, NH. Big Mike in the center does an incredible John Anderson impersonation.
