Mike Weirach , you kill me! Do you charge $8000.00 for caskets? With no knee levers? How many pedals? Do you feel steels are a lot less expensive than caskets? Yea, I know, when you get a casket, you use it for a long time, every hour, of every day, unlike steel guitar used just once in a while. I guess for the amount of use, the casket is a better deal for the money, but you can sell a used steel any time you want your money back, hard to do with a used casket, even if you are physically abel to sell it. Again, if you are able to sell it used, you didn't need it in the first place,

Help Mike, add something to this!

Anyway, the Promat steel guitar is a "tone monger", my ears love em', all three!

Bobbe,
nice topic change.Start talking about used caskets.I can't speak for Mike but over here in holland I have heard about some people selling used caskets.Bet they don't make as much money as a used Promat does.

But Bobbe, when I get done with them, they really need it!

Sometimes more, sometimes less.
With no knee levers? How many pedals?
Even if it had knee levers and pedals they would serve no purpose as the occupant is de-composing instead of composing!

How many do you want? I can match almost any steel finish you have in stock!

And Y'all gripe about the mark up on steel guitar related items....yet the funeral industry goes un-scathed for 100% mark-up ! Sorry Mike W. ....did not mean to bag on you. Image

No apology needed. Funerals can be expensive but so can a gallon of gasoline, an acre of farmland, a Lincoln Towncar, a breast augmentation procedure and a high quality steel guitar. Image

Closed because of topic drift. Besides, this seems to have run its course.
