Bob H,
I'm a fairly prolific poster, but I can't send any of my music in, as burning a cd and posting it from the UK to the States would be too costly in both time and money (and besides which, I've only ever written one tune, an instantly forgettable three chorder which strangely enough has four chords  ).

'Yousendit' is by far the best option, as it can handle files up to 100 meg, so the music could be sent as a lossless wav file

Richard,
If you want to send me the file of your song, I will burn it on to a CD and mail it to b0b. You will have to take care of the submission form, but you should be able to afford that postage right?

You could send the submission form as a pdf along with the music with yousend it also. I would be willing to help with any of that stuff if anybody needs it. It would be great to get this project going.

Thanks for offering to help :D

Jim, I have sent my tune to you (no offence Bob, Jim offered first), using your email address that I found on your website (infoatjimeatonmusic.com)

Check that it doesn't go into your spam, please Jim.

#27 - Skip Edwards - "HeartBall"
#28 - Wade Medlock - "River"

Note to Pete Adams: Your replacement CD arrived in one piece. Thanks!

Some people send exhaustive liner notes, and some send none at all! The notes are all being collected into a PDF file that will be on the disc. I urge everyone to submit at a minimum 1) what kind of guitar they played and 2) who the musicians are. It's not too late to update your notes via email (to quasar@b0b.com) if there's anything you want to add.

It's now becoming a race to get one's composition in before the 50 is met. Fortunately, I'm sure that as soon as we reach 50 b0b will start collecting for a second volume. :D

(Did I say 50 b0b ? That's two pounds and ten shillings.)

Alan, or 20 Halfcrowns (even).. or 2 Guineas and 8/-
£2 10/- is the way we wrote it WAY back then..

What with the decimation of Stirling and the watering down of the "Imperial Measure", Avoirdupois has also lost weight..
(The Typo's ARE intended)

Actually I DO remember when an album was 50 bob and singles were 5 shillings, sheet music Half a Crown and a packet of fags one and ten pence.

It has not arrived yet, Basil. We've had some postal problems here in the States as well, with bad weather over the midwest. It took nearly a week for a Priority Mail package to reach me from Michigan!
