Here's some more progress pics.
Now getting ready to install the last bunch of parts and start to make everything work the way it should.
That may actually take me even longer than refurbing my LDG...

Uhhh, where do these leftover parts and pieces go?

Hey Danny, since I am completely new at the psg you wouldn't hear the difference when I play the LDG upside down or the right way...

This just in from James Morehead; to whoever he has dealings with right now. They dodged several tornados; but they and their area will be without power for several days.
So if you are trying to contact james via email....he'll get right back with ya; when they turn the lights back on.

Thanks for all the kind words. We are fine but in the black for the next two weeks maybe. We are using the local library computer for the moment. Please be patient, naturally we can't use our power tools so we are at a stand still. YUCK!!!!!!!

Well, we are the lucky ones--our power came back on this afternoon!! There will be those in our area that won't be so lucky--may take 2 weeks to get everybody cookin'. It's been said that there were 10 tornados or more counted in our state that night.

We also offer the pedalrod couplers and replacement ball, too. These couplers can become aggravating when they wear out, besides looking nasty. Nothing like some new ones to help dress up your shobud.

I just got my steel back from James Panenscar who installed a new knee lever and added some other pulls made by James Moorehead on my old cooped sho-bud. The parts were perfect and James went out of his way to get everything perfect. Thank you both for everything.

I apologise to anyone for being a little out of sorts lately, with all the storm activity hitting Oklahoma, ect. Wednesday evening, Oklahoma had 16 tornados in a few hours. One passed my home less than 3 miles away.

In spite of the powerful tornadoes quite close to where James and Teresa live, my new LKV arrived within a couple of days after my email to James.
Like the other new Shodud parts I got from James, the LKV is a piece of art.

My guess is a replica Sho-Bud LDG - Complete kit including body, neck, levers, rods etc........ Pre-cut, holes drilled and assembly instructions.

James, there is something about the looks of a nicely made steel guitar part. It just gets me! Even the plain-looking piece you made there becomes a thing of beauty when it has nice sharp corners, is straight and nice overall. And the polish! I envy the way you achieve that great polish.
