Which model of Eminence are you referring to?

I'm in the process of putting an orange frame D140F
JBL speaker in a 1973 Fender Vibrosonic Reverb amp.

I think the Commonwealth is what has been referred to as Eminence's JBL clone.

Steven, I looked at a few sites, and they say 'This Item is No Longer Available'.... might find someplace that still has one... I don't know when they went out of production..they were part of the 'Patriot' series.
Maybe these guys..their site doesn't say that..

Frank, when Eminence was working on the Eminence Patriot EPS-15C,the Project
Manager called me and said"we are working on a speaker that we think will sound real close to a D-130 JBL and we'd like to send you a couple to try out"...they did and I did and still got 'em..use them every day!

The information I have been able to find on the web so far (thanks everyone for the links!) shows that the Eminence Commonwealth 15 and the Eminence EPS 15C are VERY different speakers. The older Commonwealth is MUCH heavier (22.6 lbs) vs. 7.9 lbs for the Patriot 15C; the newer 15C uses a Neo magnet and a 3" voice coil; the Commonwealth has a heavy 109 oz. magnet and a 4" voice coil. So I'm wondering which one sounds the closest to the Holy Grail of guitar speakers, the JBL D-130.

I think I'd put my money on the earlier, heavier model.
