Adam, I've gotta chime in with John here. Take that steel and play it out! It doesn't matter how good you are at it. It's about the value of the experience. You will learn more from one gig than a hundred hours in your basement. More fun, more friends, more memories.

Let me know when you've done it, and I will share a very cool secret with you.
