Looks like he's doin the capo under the strings there. I've seen steel players from Louisiana doing that. |

WOW!!!!!!!!! Thats my buddy. We had some great musical moments together. Jamin' at Scotty's store, Steel Shows and great times at the old DJ convention in Nashville. What a great talent and a super person. I still play some of his licks. Thanks so much for the post. I will Miss Gene forever and think of him often. GOD bless Gene, Bobby |

Back in the 60's I went with Bookie Modin to the Golden Nugget in Vegas and Gene was playing with Judy Lynn; he did an instrumental for me. IMO, it's awful that he left so soon in this life. |
