I hate to say anything more than proceed with caution with Pete Bouchard. I was contacted by him and did a few rehearsals he has nothing going on. Anyone interested should google him first. feel free to email me and I will give more details, but I wont voice them here...just a warning

I checked into the job by phone last night with Peter Bouchard. 413-439-0752. Massachusetts. check this website . www.myspace.com/brittneyleighband

The money sounds good. They are wanting to start final rehearsals PDQ. The job sounds interesting with a LOT of travel. I don't want to be away from home that much, so I declined.
If you are interested, call Peter Bouchard.

If you want to chat with me...use email only.

I have been dealing with this guy for the past week...I did my homework. I think my excitement for the gig overrode my common sense for a few days, but before I signed a contract or did anything brash, I took a second look at it...all I have to say, is please, email me before you take this gig. That's all I'm going to say, but before jumping into this, there are some things you should know.

Why are most of the commentators here from Massachusetts?

That MySpace cut sounds pretty good.

That's all I'm gonna say.

I'd like to give it a shot, cuz it's local; but then again; I'm too old for the road. Even around New England.

Well, maybe not that old, but surely that comfortable. Sad

I commend the restraint you folks are showing.

To avoid any liability issues that might hurt the Forum, the email route is the way to go.

Perhaps we need a Sticky at the top of this section, similar to the "Advice to Sellers / Buyers" in the For Sale Section. It could give advice that folks need to know before signing on with an artist.

I don't know anything about this particular manager. I'd welcome any email info.

No! ... please! no more 'Sticky's. Shocked

Concerning any possible Liabilities: There is No defamation of character if what is printed is true. The Truth is an absolute defense to a charge of defamation. Things that happened in this case are true and are on record, but I don't think it would be a good idea to post the details here. Enough said.

There's only ONE in this section.
I moderate two other sections. They have a total of ZERO.

If a Sticky would help a trusting person from getting scammed, I'm for them.

Bob Hoffnar agreed to close this.
