GOOD NEWS SKIP !!!

I'LL GIVE IT BACK TO YOU!!

Bud's got major undisclosed cracks, "vintage glue", and E9/C6 neck's split apart when you throw the knee lever!

all for $1400

Skips Post

...I have a wonderful sho bud professional 1973 in excellent condition, red tobacco lacquer. completely original with 8 pedals and four knee levers. The guitar needs nothing, I bought it from bobbie Stell Guitar Nashville about 6 years ago and it has never left the house. Tone to die for and sound wonderful, selling only because I lost my job. Asking $1500.00 plus shipping or b/o. I have photos too, just can't post on this site, I tried.. just email me, and let me know if you receive them. Also guitar stays in tune wonderfully and the pickups were rewound last summer by Jerry Wallace. the guitar needs nothing and comes with original good condition case..
thanks,
Skip

Hi Brian,
I don`t know you or the seller, but your post struck a nerve.Got a Crossover via UPS three weeks ago, cracked in two places under C6.Definite shipping damage, the cracks are clearly absent in seller`s photos.I tried to buy your guitar also, for the same price, guess you got there first.

Brian,
Wow, just saw the pic, that`s inexcusable on the seller`s part.BTW,I thought it was strange that he was looking to buy another Professional a few days after selling this one, said he only sold it due to a job loss.Nobody wants to see this kind of duplicity here on the forum, this isn`t ebay.Maybe bOb could require sellers to give buyers a 3 day right of refusal.Let`s hope Skip does the right thing.

Yeah, I called him on "looking for another"

...since he has "no money"

& he spent everything I sent him!

guess he's gonna buy the new 1 with ....good looks!

I'm sure it will get ugly. Maybe someone can intervene & perhaps find a solution to this problem.

P.s. Fred that's a huge cat you got in the picture!!!

What Fred said.
Deals like this don't do any good for people buying or selling on the Forum, it will make people parinoid about buying stuff.

Sho Bud's are great guitars, and I was surprised by this situation, especially the low selling price. If this guitar has issues, they should've been disclosed. I was a potential buyer the first time around, and this makes me uncomfortable to say the least. I'm in favor of the 3 day inspection rule.

Sleazy thing this guy did. I saw the pics of the sloppy glue crack repair. I would have been furious. Whoever this guy is, his name and reputation around here is over until he gives you your money back and does the right thing.

Don't crap in your back yard!!! They do stuff like that on Ebay.
