During my Christmas vacation from teaching school, I dug out my 1937 Silver Rickenbacher Steel and started playing around with it. We got the idea to record a New Gospel Steel Guitar CD of Old Time Gospel Classics.

This is already proving to be challenging since I am most often a pedal player, and hadn't played tis steel for sometime. However, I am hearing and seeing things in a total new approach. The tone of this guitar is fantastic! It is already very rewarding and satisfying for me to be doing this project.

My question is this, what songs would you forum members like to hear on a recording of this type?

I would like your suggestions. The project is already in the works and we will be working on it for the next few weeks/months. Your comments and suggestion of material will be valued and I will try to record some of your requests.

GOD bless!
