Hey, boys & Gals; doesn't Buddy playing this great hit of E.T.'s, make the hair stand up on the back of your neck? I agree with the guy ahead of me about Buddy sounding a great deal like our late & grand Jerry Byrd.. God Bless His Soul.. Of all E.T.'s big hits; I judge this tune as one of his best country songs, ever. Anyone agree.. Congratulations to Buddy for being recognized to be a member of The Steel Guitar Hall Of Fame. No one more deserving of this honor..Bernie

I may end up the brunt of jokes, but someone set me straight. Are Gene o'Neal and Buddy Charleton the same guy? Fraternal or identical twins, perhaps?

Looking at two Youtube videos (Go's Funky Monkey and BC's WAT), I'm having a real tough time seeing any difference between these two great players except for age and weight. . . or am I seeing the same guy?

All comments welcome.

James, I would say you need a new computer. Gene and Buddy look nothing alike. And you are not seeing the same guy.
