If you post something for sale and the item gets sold, please post a reply to the original message saying that it is sold. The moderator will see the reply and lock the topic. There is no need to email the moderator.

Use of the Classified Ads section to sell steel related items is generally free*, but most folks send a donation when they sell a big ticket item (over $400) through the Forum. The conventional donation amount is 2.5% of the selling price of the item. That would be $10 for a $400 sale, for example. You can send your donation by check or money order payable in US funds to:

For your convenience, we also accept credit card donations via PayPal. There's a "Donate" button at the bottom of every Forum page that will take you to a PayPal donation form.

*Note that we require people who drive traffic to their EBay auctions through the Forum to pay the Forum a 2.5% finders fee if the auctioned item is bought by a Forum member.

Remember that the Forum is supported by your donations and by sales from the Forum Catalog. Without that income, we couldn't keep it going.
