This is a recently-released CD by a West Coast band calling themselves "The Essential Resophonics", an acoustic band featuring the expert playing of Buck Giles on a 1928 National Tri-cone Hawaiian guitar. With the exception of the jazz standards "Mood Indigo" and "On Green Dolphin Street", the songs are traditional Hawaiian numbers: "Na Lei O Hawaii", Sweet Lei Lehua", Wailele O Akaka, "Mai Poina Oe la'u", "Sophisticated Hula" and 3 more....If you appreciate Sol Hoopii or Bob Brozman, you'll enjoy this CD. $12.00 includes free USA shipping.
