I ordered some strings from Bobbe last week and I think he said he would throw in a free PP Emmons, (or something), with my order. What a guy. Thanks Bobbe.

What do I get if I order a new volume pedal?

Oh yeah...and my wife said he sounded real "sweet" on the phone. HMMMMM

I saw Bobbe 8 years ago (?) at my first (and only) steel guitar convention in St. Lou, and his non-pedal playing blew me away. When I spoke to him years later about a boo-wah pedel he mailed me one of his CD's out of the blue, no charge. He is an inspiration to younger (newer) players. This instrument is tricky enough to learn. Having people like Bobbe gives one hope. Thanks Bobbe. Tim.

Just one word of advice concerning Bobbe. When you go into his shop, keep an eye on your wife and your little dog. Bobbe will charm both of them.
But that may be good. Every time I have gone there my wife has no problems with anything Bobbe and I work out.
Seriously though, I could say something but I think that he and I have a "Gentlemens agreement" that we will keep it to ourselves. All I can say, is I now have a tip top of the line steel that my wife says sounds "almost like my old Emmons" and I know that Bobbe took a beating on it.
I guess he would rather see someone have quality than struggle with the norm.
Anyway on the good side, Bobbe is fun to hang around with. Don't never know what he is going to come up with next.

You go to a Chinese resturant and you order the egg roll but you won,t eat it without the spicey mustard.Bobby sent me a rare used part years ago and said it would be difficult to price, so he sent it to me for free, shipping and all.I,m still confused.I did figure out how he is doing the Chet Atkins stuff on the steel, its a trick,he is using his left thumb.I was watching the wrong thumb all this time. Thumb up Boobe

If you order a set of "prestretched" psg strings, Bobbe will send you the guitar he stretched them on with them. Of course, the price of the strings are a bit high in my opinion. $1500.00 to $5000.00 for some strings is a bit steep.

Went into Bobbee's last week and he was having "Picture Day"
Buy over a certain amount (5 bucks or so) and you could get a Poloriod take of Bandella & yourself in a thong bikini.
Just my luck, he didn't have a thong bikini in my color & size.
