The Campbell Brothers made a rare appearance in Vancouver tonight and put on a great show. The thing that stood out for me was Chuck and Darik's impeccable taste. Chuck even pulled off some b pedal chicken pickin runs and as good as I have heard anywhere. The whole band was really tight with great arrangements that reminded me of one of James Brown's rythm sections. Its not often you get to see the band and a crowd of about 500 people jumping up and down with their hands in the air. I looked around once and noticed Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell in attentdance and having a good time. But thats Vancouver for you.
