Would any one have a picture of The Green
Steel played by the great Norm Hamlet that they could post on the forum. I am going to have some art work done on one of mine & wanted to have some thing to go by. If any
one has a picture I would really appricate it. Thank you.

Autry, If you go to www.swsteelguitar.com and visit the picture page, I believe it is Fred Justice that is playing a blue one very similair to the one Norm played.

What's he got on there? It's hard to tell from the photo.

I like Jim Murphy's steel with the inlaid mother-of-pearl pot leaf.

I've been thinking of putting a grill and headlights on mine. And wheels!

I will have a pic taken of mine if I can find someone with one a them new fangled digital cameras.
Mine was pinstriped back in the old days by a pinstriper here in Mesa Az. He pinstriped a lot of the Rus-lers for the manufacturer.
When I moved here I met the Striper,Butch Tucker, we became good friends and work together from time to time.
When Von Dutch (the father of modern pinstriping) died a few years ago I painted his "Flying Eyeball" between the pinstripes
that Butch had done in the 70's.
Butch was a good friend of Von Dutch.
(His real name was Kenny Howard)
Us in the auto graphics biz always seem to decorate everything we see.
