Hey, Stoney, this is your buddy, Brett. I am playing steel every day. I picked some tunes by an early 90's band called McBride & The Ride. Terry McBride is their bass player and leader and Steve Fishel does the steel work.I wish you could see how I play steel. You'd be surprised. I can actually hold the bar without it slipping around in my left hand. I usually have to force my left foot to cooperate when I use the pedals. When the bar slides around, I adjust it to where I can straighten it out. Now that I've graduated from high school, I practice steel every day. Your buddy, Brett

Brett, if I recall correctly from past postings, you have a condition an acquaintance of mine had. In which case, you've earned my very high admiration & esteem for your achievement.

It only shows that nothing can hold back human will when it wants something strongly enough. Go for it, Brett!
