I've just purchased a Dobro and would like some help in choosing fingerpicks. Where is the best place to order on-line? What brand, style, sizes, composition, etc. do you recommend?

I like the Zookies L30 thumb pick and pro pics single wrap (angled) in sizes L & M. I use 3 picks + thumb.

There will be so many preferences for this question that you'll end up trying a variety of picks until you decide what is right for you.

HowardR is correct. You will try many picks before you settle in to favorites.

Surely you have a music store close by? Picks are so inexpensive that you ought to support your local businesses.

Typically, dobroists use beefy plastic thumb picks, and heavy gauge metal finger picks. You should also try plastic finger picks. Different gauges, and different material compositions, provide different tones.

I agree with HowardR although I use Zookie Large 20's and ProPiks angled reso picks (two fingerpicks).
