Cool number! Cool vibe! The Hawaiian music in Colorado is more refreshing, more energetic than the stuff being played in Hawai'i today. What's going on? |

That sounds super. Love that tune and your playing. Chris, what settings are you using on your Nashville 112?
Thanks
Mike

thanks guys! I'm still learning this beast, and I appreciate the support!.
Jeff - perhaps it's because we're such newbies, and isolated here in the mountains at 5,000 ft. where there is no Hawaiian music at all
It's in C6. I ran a D-8 stringmaster into the Nashville 112, then XLR out to a channel on my recorder. Amp settings were flat, no verb. Uke recorded with Neumann TLM103, Acoustic bass with a Lawson tube mic, guitar thru a Fender Super Twin and SM57's.
We recorded it on my Akai DPS24 at my studio. 24bit, 44.1k uncompressed .wav
My buddy, (our uke player) Stuart Yoshida mixed it on Cuebase at his studio and did some stuff with plugin's that I can't remember! We mastered it at www.airshowmastering.com
www.seldomfed.com is my studio
