? for someone with BIAB V10

Post by Jack Stoner »

I've upgraded to V11 so I can't test this.
On V10, you can "record" to a wav file from a BIAB song. (V11 does a direct conversion)

I have a friend with V10 and when he "records" to a wav file and the speed is greater than approx 120BPS he gets some slight dropouts or skips int he beat.

Has anyone else noticed or experienced this.

I have not experienced that problem. But what I usually suggest is turning the BIAB file into a midi file and taking it to Power Tracks and do the "rendering" there from midi to wave files. It gives you much more control of levels, effects and so on, then mix to two track stereo for burning. There is a good FAQ at PGMusic.com on doing the 'rendering' within Power Tracks.
BIAB 11 sure makes it easy using the VSC3..))

I just talked (e-mail) to the friend this afternoon and he is going to order the V11 megapak so his problem is moot.

I'm going to close this thread.
