Is there any way to stop the junk e-mail (spam?) from cluttering up my mailbox?
I`m getting tired of being offered "discrete deliveries of Viagra without a prescription" on a twice a week basis.
Also, could anyone recommend a website that deals with using computers in a way that a steel player can understand? After 3 years of hitting and missing I think it`s time to get the basics straight.

The junk e-mail (SPAM)is hard to get rid of. Some of the ISP's have filters that will trap quite a bit of it and there is software to filter it at the PC. However, I don't know of any way to completely eliminate it. Some of the Spammers use software that blindly sends it to a group of e-mail addresses. Some of the Spam is generated from your e-mail address that you may have given out when registering at some sites.
You could change your e-mail address and that will eliminate some, but not all of the Spam.
I don't know of any site that has basic PC instruction, however someone else may have something on that.

Sorry, but they haven't figured out a way to add knee levers to them yet. ![](http://www.b0b.com/forum/wink.gif) |

Olli, I'll tell you how to stop the spam, if you tell me where to get Viagra twice a week without a prescription! ![](http://www.b0b.com/forum/wink.gif) |

Olli,
Here is something that works for me. First find a web page for your "home page" that does not sponser any advertising. I use The Steel Guitar Forum for mine. Then put a link on your desktop to "temporary internet files" and each time you log off the internet go to your internet files and delete all of the cookies and links except for the ones that start with www.b0b-----. You will then eliminate all cookie links to your computer each time you go back on line. I have not had a spam in my mailbox in months. I hope this works for you.

The cookies will not stop SPAM. Although there are "good" cookies and "bad" cookies, they have nothing to do with SPAM. |

You only get the Viagra spam twice a week? Lately I've been getting it twice a DAY! ![](http://www.b0b.com/forum/frown.gif) |

I suffer from the same "SPAM" problem. BTW, I understood it was illegal for them to send spam. confused:

At this time I don't have a need for Viagra. I feel that I should make sure I have a solution to the problem before I subscribe to this product. At my age, "Auto-eroticism" is not a viable solution. LOL

Don't open the mail and it will go away. I've noticed when I open a spam; I seem to continue on their mailing list. I quit opening anything that even looked like an advertisement; and I don't hardly get any at all.
