I am on America on line .
I have Aol 4.0 and Aol 5.0 .both downloaded.
The aol 5.0 every now and then crash's . My neighbor has to come over and upgrade it back on, off of 4.0 .She has not shown me what steps it took to get it re upgraded.
I would like this info on how to do this so I would not have, to bother her.
If anyone could help ,thanks

BJ:
Why bother to 'upgrade it' off of 4.0? Why not just get one of those 5.0 CDs that grow on trees and reinstall it from scratch? Maybe it's the 'upgraded' version that's giving you trouble in the first place periodically. I'd just install a fresh 5.0 if it were me.

I like to stick with a LOCAL ISP. AOL was on my computer when I got it. I got rid of it....al

For Internet, don't get too attached to AOL. For instance, try a free ISP. They aren't much, if any worse. Some of them are even better, IMHO, than AOL. I especially like NetZero's software. The good thing about the free ISPs is that you don't have to cancel AOL to try them out.

Best regards,
