carter starter case

Does anyone know where on the Web a "price" is given for the Carter-starter hard case? It seems I've looked for this before and can't find a price given. I can't seem to find it on the Carter site. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Most forumites already know that on Flea-Bay the goods which are second hand cost more then new.Not all but some of um do cost more.

At the risk of forcing this thread into a different category...

I also own a Carter Starter without a case. I've been reluctant to buy the case from Carter because it seems fairly formless inside (no separate compartment for the pedal board and legs; nothing to suspend the instrument off the strings and tuners; etc.). I am considering building my own case: has anyone done this before? I'd be curious as to where you got materials and whether the whole endeavor seemed worth it.
