I am just getting into PS and want a guitar that I can grow into without breaking the bank. Little Buddy types considered, or lower priced models, 3x4 types preferred but I'll take a look at anything. Want to spend no more than about a grand, might be willing to sell or trade if we can get into a good guitar, looks not an issue but condition, playability and sound are important. Not worried about dings, in other words, but restoration projects might be beyond me. No Carter Starters, already checked one out and not happy with the tone. Thanks in advance for your replies. You can call if you like, 678-528-3425 Keith

I have a ZumSteel Stage One that I bought new in October 2000. It has 3 pedals and 4 knees, with standard ABC pedals (Emmons setup) and these knees:
LKL E->F (4 &
LKR E->D# (4 &
RKR D#->D (2)
RKL F#->G (1 & 7)
This guitar has hardly been played. I bought it so my brother could learn steel, but he never got into it. I have a Carter D10, and this Stage One is not getting any use, so why should I keep it?
Have you ever tried one of these?
I would ask $700, or possibly some sort of deal involving an electric guitar, Tele or Strat, for example.
My e-mail is registered here on the forum.
Cheers,

The Carter starter would do you for years to come and are pretty cheap too. I think around $700 new. Just check with carter guitars. |

Keith,, what about an MSA? They pop up frequently on The Forum, handle well, and would fit your price range. Good luck in the search. steve t [This message was edited by steve takacs on 16 April 2005 at 04:41 PM.] |

I am actually looking at an MSA D10 from Bobbe's shop. I just have to get some more info, I have talked to Dan. I don't see any still available on the forum, unless I overlooked something. The one Bobbe has is a classic; I don't know much about the guitars so I am researching to find out what people think about them. If anyone else has one I am open to lookign at it. |

Still looking, not after total beginner guitars. dinged up is fine, just not totally hosed. Don't want an economy or starter. |

I have mid 70's D10 MSA rosewood mica. Recently setup and adjusted by Russ Wever.
Good condition no dings could use some shineing up. I'm thinking $1000.00 you pay shipping? |
