I have a friend that is looking for 50 of the so called sleeves or collars that fit over MSA 1/8 dia pull rods. Anybody know where these are made or obtained at a reasonable price?

Hello Don Try George "L" Products
http://www.georgels.com/cgi-bin/l_l/shop.cgi?product=stlacc&cart_id=8742771_692

The two items at the bottom of the page would interest you ..

You might be able to find some aluminum tubing at a hardware or plumbing supply store that will work. You might need to drill out the inside diameter to fit the MSA rods through the tubing.

George L's Rod Collars
Got a push pull Emmons? 1/8" is the size. These are what you are looking for to go over your rods underneath the guitar. They come in sets of 10 and are priced at 10 for $20.00

What I am looking for are the aluminium sleeves that fit over the pull rods. They are tubing that is about one and a half inches long.

You can get the aluminum sleeves at most hardware stores. I think they're called aluminum standoffs or something like that.
