Toby Keith/Ford Trucks

Post by Michael Haselman »

I don't know about anybody else, but I won't buy a Ford Truck or a Toby Keith CD, and I kinda liked some of his stuff. I can't escape that Ford Truck jingle. Every 5 minutes it's either on the radio or TV. Talk about overkill. Enough already!

How about the 3rd line? "aint got no boundries" with the nanny goat tremolo! & equally as bad as the chevy one,"like a rock" by the way, I just got a new dodge pickup! kr

How about Alan Jackson singing 'Ford Country' instead of 'Gone Country'?

Michael - Where you planning on buying a Ford prior to the Toby Keith commercial?

At first, I thought that you were being a little harsh. Then I realized I don't buy any products that grace GM & Dodge products in motorsports!

I'd probably buy a Ford if I felt like it anyway. It's just the annoyance of musicians turning into hucksters, I guess, and bombarding me with this crap ad nauseum.

I'd buy his CD, if they'd through the truck in on the deal. But ain't no singer gonna tell me what kind of truck to buy, but a steeler would be a different deal.

Got me a Ford truck. Don't need no Jingles to make me buy one. Proof is in the owning.

"I love my truck, it's right outside. Don't have much luck, but I sure got a ride".......

If the rest of the world were this logical, advertising would be a lot different. Image
