Kevin Owens on the Opry

Post by Tommy White »

I had the pleasure to hear Kevin play for Dale Watson on the show last night .Kevin's tone was one of the most pleasing I've ever heard. He played absolutely beautiful and with great taste.I was also very envious of his 1960's Sho-Bud,as it is a real show piece. My hats of to you Kevin.I will look forward to hearing you again soon!

Tommy
Thanks so much for the kind words and thanks again for the time to help me with the amp. Not only are you a great player but also a great person.

Kevin
ps - If anyone ever needs more left hand vibrato, just play on the Opry stage for the first time and you'll have plenty--left hand, right hand, left foot, right foot,etc.........a very humbling experience.

Kevin... are you making this week's midwest swing in the "Longhorn Suburban" - I'm considering a run to KC on Wednesday, will depend much on the weather - on that note, DW's rig better have 4-wheel drive!!, more snow and 40-below wind chill here today!

Ricky, you'll be glad to miss the load-in/load-out action this week?!?!?!!!
