The Opry Tradition

Post by Dale Stacy »

The Opry is about traditional country and gospel music. I'm talking about grass roots music and comedy where the audience feels at home and a part of the show.
The Opry has turned into a concert and some music has nothing to do with tradition.
Branson has proven that there are still lots of loyal country fans. The Opry mgmt. has sold out to the almighty dollar and like the song says Murder Has Been Commited Down AT The Opry.

Hello Dale,
It's great to see you on the forum. For those of you who are not fortunate enough to know Dale, he is one of the best pedal steel guitarists you could ever hear.

I'd say his touch and tone rival that of most any "pro' you've ever heard. And a real nice guy too. Image
