I saw Nickel Creek on Sep 8 up in Claremore, OK.

They're pretty amazing kids -- I'm not sure what I'd call their music, but I liked it.

Don't you mean Sept 30, Janice?

I finally have a Saturday night off. I might be able to catch this one.

Robyn does have his dads sound if he should choose to do so. So for all you Faron Young fans there will be plenty of Steel backing him up. Probably TW.

I do mean Sept 30. Also for those who listen on the web or the radio, Hot Club of Cowtown
will be featured on the 8pm and 11:30 pm
cst portions.
This is a swinging trio with fiddle, guitar
and bass. Their 3rd album Develish Mary was recently released on Hightone.

Hot Club of Cowtown
Are they really from Cowtown (Fort Worth) or did they just steal the name? I've never heard of them. The Hot Club of Cowtown that I know of is Big Balls of Cowtown!

Joe, when you post a reply, look to the left of the box you type in. There is a link called "Smilies Legend". This will show you how.

Now how many of you actually thought the "Smilies Legend" was Smiley Roberts Biography?

Jim, Hot Club of Cowtown ain't from cowtown, They moved down to Austin about 2 years ago, from New York I believe. Heck, they didn't even know what or where cowtown was!!! They just though it was a "cool" name.
